Prototype for LiveLightly App
Created in March 2018
Originally conceived for a design challenge, I created the framework for an app that aims to showcase the size of the individuals carbon footprint (utilizing inputted factors of: flights taken). These inputted flights taken could be taken from the user inputting throughout the year, or at one specific instance. It then calculates the number of metric tons needed to offset the amount of CO2 used and offers websites where you can offset this amount via a range of projects that include carbon avoidance, clean and renewable energy generation. It's a small step that can make a huge difference in slowing speed at which climate change is occurring. For this prototype I used a combination of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
